Local Shelter Offering Dollar Adoption For Kitties

Youth museum committed despite less Mesa funding
Arizona Museum for Youth opens its 2006-07 fiscal year July 1 without about $350,000 in funding from Mesa. The amount represents a 50 percent cut from what the city was allocating to the museum's projected $1.6 million budget.

Cat owner faces cruelty charge
A Rochester woman was arrested Tuesday and charged with cruelty to animals after Lollypop Farm investigators removed 10 cats from her house, five of which were dead.
